What We Collect

DNSV.uk is a free DNS and email diagnostic tool. We are committed to your privacy and collect minimal data:

• IP Address: Temporarily stored in memory for rate limiting purposes (3 lookups per 24 hours). Rate limit data is stored in a local file and automatically purged after 24 hours.
• Domain Queries: The domains and IPs you look up are NOT stored, logged, or recorded. All lookups are performed in real-time and the results are not retained.
• PHP Session: A standard PHP session cookie is used solely for rate limiting. No personal data is stored in the session.

What We Do NOT Collect

• No personal information (name, email, address)
• No analytics or tracking scripts
• No third-party cookies
• No advertising trackers
• No user accounts or registration data

Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare: Our site is served through Cloudflare for performance and security. Cloudflare may collect standard web traffic data as described in their privacy policy.
• Google PageSpeed Insights API: When you use the Website Speed Test tool, your URL is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights API for analysis. See Google's privacy policy.
• DNS Queries: DNS lookups are performed using the server's system resolver. No personal data is transmitted.

Data Retention

Rate limiting data (IP addresses and timestamps) is automatically deleted after 24 hours. No other data is retained.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data beyond temporary rate limiting, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Rate limit entries are automatically purged within 24 hours.
